Raul Perez Ballaga is a founding partner of Ballaga, Freedman & Atkins, LLP and is Board Certified in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar—an accomplishment held by a small percentage of attorneys statewide. His practice is focused on real estate, title insurance, and corporate transactional matters, and he is widely recognized for his knowledge, precision, and results-oriented approach.

Raul remains actively engaged in leading real estate industry organizations, allowing him to stay at the forefront of legislative developments, case law, and emerging trends that impact his clients. His combination of expertise, practical insight, and attention to detail helps clients navigate complex transactions efficiently and effectively.

Raul represents real estate owners, investors, developers, landlords, tenants, and lenders in all aspects of real property acquisition, sale, development, leasing, and financing. He also has significant experience in title insurance matters, representing both underwriters and insureds in claims involving title defects, boundary disputes, lien priority issues, fraud, and other related concerns.

In addition to his real estate practice, Raul advises businesses and their owners on entity formation, partnership and joint venture agreements, and the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements. He is fluent in Spanish and regularly assists foreign clients with the unique tax, corporate, and structuring considerations that arise when investing in U.S. real estate.
